We hear it all the time. While we do replace amalgam fillings with more aesthetically pleasing - and potentially "healthier" - color-matched ceramic fillings, it doesn't mean you have to rush out and replace all your fillings tomorrow.
We'll be happy to schedule you for an evaluation of all your existing amalgam fillings to see which ones might be nearing end-of-life (i.e. loosening or allowing food and bacteria underneath and into the tooth). We'll then discuss our findings with you and make a realistic plan for replacing one, some, all, or none of your existing fillings. That's how we roll! Patient needs come first!
